Position Overview

Make an Impact
in Your Community

The National High School Conservatives of America National Field Internship Program gives motivated students and young leaders the opportunity to work directly with NHSC's National Field Program and contribute to the organization's growth across the country.

Field Interns serve within their local communities while remaining connected to NHSC's national organization. Interns may represent NHSC at events, recruit members, help establish new chapters, participate in voter and civic engagement efforts, conduct outreach, assist with fundraising initiatives, and build relationships with students and community leaders.

Unlike NHSC Field Representatives, who serve in ongoing field leadership positions with significantly greater organizational responsibilities and availability requirements, Field Interns serve one semester at a time with an expected commitment of approximately 3–4 hours per week.

The internship is designed for individuals who want practical experience in grassroots organizing, nonprofit operations, political engagement, communications, fundraising, and leadership.
